As part of the “Marseille Jazz des Cinq Continents Festival” at Marseille’s Longchamp Palace, Provence Promotion was delighted to invite the companies it has been supporting to a special “Invest in Provence” evening. The aim of the event was to introduce the newly-arrived entrepreneurs to the Provençal way of life, thus connecting them more closely with their new region, and to inspire them to talk about it to their business and personal contacts and to those in their home regions. It was also an occasion to meet other entrepreneurs who have made the choice of investing in Provence. A moment for sharing, relaxing and networking appreciated by all.
The Marseille Jazz des Cinq Continents Festival Marks its 19th Edition
The Provence Promotion community once again was invited to an evening at the Marseille Jazz des Cinq Continents Festival. This 19th edition was another opportunity to see some of the giants of jazz alongside young, upcoming talent, against a background of “love”, the theme chosen by this MP2018 year, in which the Festival is a partner. The evening brought together around twenty investors, French, American, Spanish, Canadian and Indian, representing the six sectors of excellence of the Aix-Marseille and Pays d’Arles economies that account for the major part of the investment attracted by Provence Promotion: digital technologies, shipping and logistics, energy and eco-industry, art of living, aircraft and marine mechanical engineering and health and well-being.
The aim of these Invest in Provence evenings is to create a synergy within the community, with each member sharing his or her experience, problems and expertise. Provence Promotion is committed to encouraging these companies to meet and keep in contact. Other gatherings will be arranged over the next few months to facilitate these meetings and exchanges.
Promoting the Provence Attractiveness Message
Under its new status, Provence Promotion has seen the scope of its mission to promote the region’s image change. Today, it is spreading a message of Provence’s attractiveness that covers a whole range of domains, including the economy, culture, tourism, science and art of living. The invitation to the Marseille Jazz des Cinq Continents Festival is part of this enlarged scope.
